Best Black & Grey Tattoo
This category covers both Modern Black’n Grey and Classic Black’n Grey tattoos. These tattoos are made with what is called ‘Greywash’, and not with the grey color. It is accepted to use white color for contrast/highlight. In this category, there are often seen semi-realistic motives, Chicano tattoos, etc. There is a strong emphasis on contrast, progress and the “finesse” of the shadow.

Best Realistic Tattoo
Open to both color and black & grey. Aiming to award the best most beautiful realistic composition. Tattoos have to be at least 10x10cm in order to qualify.If possible, bring a photograph of the original artwork/photo that’s has been used for the tattoo. Judges are looking for how much it looks like the artwork/photo, and the dimensions of the image.
Best Arm/Leg Sleeve Tattoo
Open to any style. Aiming to award the best arm or leg sleeve with the most beautiful composition. The limb has to be 75% tattooed to qualify.
Best Chest/Back Tattoo
Open to any style. Aiming to award the best chest or back with the most beautiful composition. At least 75% of the chest or back has to be tattooed in order to qualify.
Best Asian Inspired Tattoo
Open to all innovative compositions, combining traditional Asian themes with modern elements or tattoo styles.
Best Color Tattoo
Open to any style in size above 10x10cm. This is your chance to show your talent in inking and bending colors under the skin.
Best Blackwork Tattoo
Elements of this style of tattoo include thick outlines and bold, solid, black areas juxtaposed by intentional negative space or ‘skin-breaks’. Any design made up of solely black ink without the addition of color or grey shading can be classified as a Blackwork piece.
